YJ-2102H Automatic Plaster Softening Point Tester Introduction:
This instrument is based on the requirements of the Plaster Softening Point Determination Method in General Rule 2102, Volume 4 of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia (2025 Edition). It measures the temperature at which the plaster softens when heated under specified conditions, specifically the temperature when the plaster sags by 25mm due to heating. This is used to detect the maturity of the plaster and indirectly reflect its viscosity. The instrument is suitable for use by various plaster manufacturers, drug inspection institutes, and related institutions.
I. Main Technical Features
1. The YJ-2102H Automatic Plaster Softening Point Tester adopts technologies such as computer intelligent control, automatic laser detection, liquid crystal touch screen human-machine interface, and lead screw stepper motor lifting. It features linear temperature rise, uniform bath liquid stirring, and automatic sample detection. It is a plaster softening point tester with high automation, fast and convenient testing, and accurate and reliable test results.
2. The instrument heats the solution medium and the plaster through a heating tube. A magnetic stirrer is used to ensure uniform temperature in the beaker. The controller uses an interpolation algorithm to control the output, making the medium rise linearly at 1.0-1.5℃ per minute. During the heating process, the plaster in the test ring begins to soften slowly. When the softening temperature is reached, the plaster in the sample ring slowly drops in a water-drop shape under the gravity of the steel ball. The average temperature when the plaster in both sample rings drops and touches the lower baffle is the softening point temperature of the plaster.
3. The instrument mainly consists of a chassis bracket, touch screen human-machine interface, lead screw lifting system, heating and temperature adjustment system, laser detection system, magnetic stirring system, and other components.
4. To facilitate test operation and the smooth lifting of components in the beaker, a test platform is designed. The test components are suspended and positioned on the test platform. The lead screw drives the test platform and components to descend smoothly with precise positioning, ensuring that the light column of the through-beam laser is close to the upper side of the lower baffle.
5. The test process features animated simulation display and touch operation, making the human-machine interface more intuitive and convenient.
6. Temperature control adopts a slope interpolation algorithm for precise temperature rise, program control, and real-time temperature monitoring.
7. The split-type magnetic stirrer uses infinite speed regulation, ensuring more uniform temperature.
8. The laser through-beam automatically detects and judges sample falling, with strong anti-interference ability and high response sensitivity.
